As a healthcare provider, I am often asked to provide my opinions on various health-related products for patients and curious consumers. I can speak about my personal experience with Apagard Royal Tooth Polish as I have been using it for the past few months with excellent results. In recent years I have suffered from a significant and noticeable loss of enamel directly related to my excessive daily consumption of carbonated beverages. I've always taken very good care of my teeth but every man has his faults and unfortunately mine is Mountain Dew. The areas of my teeth closest to the gum line had significant enamel loss exposing the underlying (and unsightly) dentin in several areas. This naturally led to extreme heat/cold sensitivity when eating and drinking, prompting me to seek a solution to my situation. I did a little research online and found the product Apagard Royal Polish on Revain. It was an expensive purchase/experiment, but in my opinion it was worth it. I'm happy to report the following results: 1) Within 10 days my heat/cold sensitivity problems stopped. 2) Areas of enamel erosion appear to "remineralize" but I have noticed this very pleasing result after four weeks of constant use. 3) After just two weeks, I noticed that the areas of exposed dentin on my teeth were no longer visibly discolored and were only visible upon very close inspection. 4) My teeth are noticeably whiter! What sets this Japanese-made product apart from many others on the US and global markets is its main active ingredient, nanohydroxyapatite. Nanohydroxyapatite has not only been shown to be superior to fluoride in the prevention and sometimes treatment of dental caries, it has also been shown in scientific studies to be effective at remineralizing both microscopic surface cracks and subsurface demineralized areas. Apagard makes several other toothpastes with nanohydroxyapatite technology, but I bought Apagard Royal Polish because this product has a higher concentration of nanohydroxyapatite than other products. Yes, Apagard Royal Tooth Polish toothpaste is so expensive it becomes prohibitive, but worth every penny in my opinion as it has remineralized my teeth in several areas and has proven to be the best whitening toothpaste I have found on the market. Market. Apagard Royal Tooth Polish still surprises me to this day. I am convinced that consistent use of this paste can prevent many future chair problems for almost everyone. An ounce of prevention is really worth a pound of cure! Using a soft bristled toothbrush, I recommend gentle brushing with Apagard Royal Polish for five minutes twice a day. I've found that increasing the contact time with the polish has noticeably improved my results lately. I highly recommend this toothpaste. Despite my enthusiasm for this product, I must responsibly urge anyone with more serious dental problems (dental deformities, infections, severe or advanced tooth decay, etc.) to seek professional advice and treatment from a local dentist or facial surgeon. There are many things that even a miracle toothpaste cannot fix and it is always advisable to nip such problems in the bud before they become irreparable and costly problems.
