You should check if it's compatible

I bought this for my girlfriend's home office. First the most important part - you need to see if your computer is compatible (for dual monitors/HDMI). I first used this on my Acer Aspire 5 computer, everything works (USB, SD reader, etc) but it's not plugged in for extended monitors. I found out later that it is in the description. However, it works very well for my girlfriend's computer (for HDMI for two monitors, USB, SD, etc.) very well. And while it's not compatible with a computer, it's just an HDMI part, other ports work just fine. so I can use it elsewhere.
