It stays connected!

Compressible plastic under the flat spring keeps Cuzac connected! This is enough to make it the best choice. But that's not all: it has dust caps and a copper-tipped nib! The better conductive tip spring is not advertised by Cuzac as a selling point like the Electop, but it is there. However, this is just a spring, not a spring within a spring like the Electop. I have purchased, tested and verified the NOCO GC020 and 5 inch electop splitter (my review of the 5 inch electop would also be correct). for the 10" version). Both have heavy duty cables and the 10" Electop and NORCO have molded connectors. But both didn't stay fully inserted, resulting in a weak compression connection at the tip. This could mean that the two elements would overheat more quickly with prolonged use and that if subjected to vibration both would work weak enough to break the connection; The NOCO was particularly susceptible to vibration because the negative contact (the "flat spring") is located closer to the tip, resulting in a loose fit around its circumference. With the original copper spring, the Cuzac popped out less than a millimeter. hardly noticeable. I then replaced that spring with an electop spring, which was much stronger. The Cuzac was only extended 2mm, not enough to relieve the down pressure on the tip, especially since both NOCO and Electop practically ejected when I let go of the forks! The other two manufacturers would be better off studying Cuzac's design.
