Item fits my 2008 Polaris Sportsman X2 800 counterpart as described. Only got installed on thaw days but I've tried starting the machine about 20 times and it seems to be working fine. This piece appears to be made in the same manner as the original based on pre-installation comparison. Hope it lasts as long as the original!
