As you would expect the Mopar water pump was of a very high quality and I felt much more confident than a remanufactured part. My original pump failed at 125,000 miles and my AutoZone emergency replacement lasted a whopping five days before I was stuck on the freeway. Once again I had to replace it with a spare because I needed my machine up and running again immediately. The replacement took about two years and 50,000 miles. Luckily I was able to survive that Mopar water pump overnight and I sincerely hope it will outlast the rest of the car. It's amazing how much higher quality this is compared to the aftermarket junk I've dealt with before. The finishing is much better (no traces of rough work) and this is obviously a higher quality finish. I installed it about six weeks ago along with a new radiator and thermostat and have driven about 1500 miles since installing it. It works flawlessly with no leaks, temperature spikes, or other signs of malfunction.
