This device was perfect for what I needed it for. I bought an external hard drive that I need to plug in to play more than half of my games so it's constantly taking up space. Second, I mostly play fighting games and use an arcade stick, so there are two of them, and my first gen PS4 only has 2 USB ports. I also have a USB headset and sometimes I need a keyboard connector or a wireless controller charger. With this adapter I can easily use all these devices when needed. The only issue I had was that while the plugs you use to connect to the console are easy to plug in and fit well, the 5 ports on the front are very narrow and don't always connect like a normal one USB connection feels . It still works well but doesn't always feel right and is quite tight. This also means that when removing the device you have to be careful to hold the hub on the PS4 because if you don't keep your hand on it you could end up pulling the entire hub out of the PS4. Otherwise I had no other problems. I've heard of some issues people have had with wireless devices using a USB dongle or receiver and the signal has been a bit inconsistent when connected to this hub, such as: some sort of wireless controller skipping inputs, or wireless headphones momentarily losing audio. I can't comment on this as I haven't used anything like this before, but I'm just mentioning this so people using similar devices are aware and check if it's a problem. But when all your devices are connected, it works great!
