I used these injector style clamps to replace old spring clamps and worm gear clamps on my 1993 Yamaha Venture. I think they are better and look way better than other clip styles. Advantages: - Compact. Enough to get the job done. The clamp does not protrude like with a worm drive clamp - Uniform contact pressure over the entire width of the clamp and around the entire circumference of the clamp - Rubber does not protrude in the clamp area as it does in the clamp area. Notches on worm gear clamps - Easy tightening on fuel hoses that can be easily stretched - Easy maintenance and disassembly: just use a screwdriver or wrench to loosen and remove the clamp. Do not pinch or fiddle with the spring clips. - Don't worry about breakage. Initially I used replacement spring clips bought here from Revain (100 pack spring band clips) which kept breaking. Cons: - None yet.
