I highly recommend using it on any manifolds you install. Not to mention it's a third of the price you'll find at AutoZone or O'Reilly's. I feel like this really is the best quality. At O'Reilly's, this stuff costs over $60 a roll. This is a fiberglass sheet, I would be surprised if there was titanium in the material itself, I think the color represents everything there is. However, things work great. keeps the engine compartment cooler than without and thus ensures better intake temperatures and of course better engine performance. Be prepared to itch because it contains fiberglass. I wear gloves and it's up to you if you want to submerge it in water, but it's not really necessary. Also, be careful when submerging it in water so you don't snag it because once it starts to disintegrate, like a bad sweater, it will continue to disintegrate.
