we use them on heavy doors, on concrete, carpet and smooth floors. They have enough stability to place under the door, push slightly and it stays on. See photo. The mount they include can easily detach from the wall in my opinion due to the action of the lever that only holds the tip of the mount. So I took my 3D printer and made a bracket that will hold the doorstop midway down its length. see picture, it's printed and the panel on the right is glued to the top so you have a closed conical slot that can be screwed to the wall or use hook sticker or 2 sided tape to hang on the wall. HEY maker if you need a file for this let me know, I think it's a better design than your holder and it doesn't take much plastic to print, about 10 grams and about 1 1/2 hours. my printer.
