Sizing and product specs are misleading! The small collar should be 3/4" wide. The small one I received is only 5/8" wide. I was hoping it would be wider so as not to cut my dog's neck. In addition, the small collar is designed for dogs with a 10-16" neck size. My dog's neck was 15 inches long so I figured this collar would work if adjusted to its maximum length. Actually, it just fits him perfectly with almost the tightest adjustment. If your dog's neck is under 15-16" this size will run small too big. Order one size down! If you're hoping for a wide collar (at least 3/4" wide), this isn't an option for you. As for the quality, both the fabric and the chain are quite thin. I'm actually terrified st that the chain won't hold and could break if my dog pulls hard. There's also a giant fabric "Dog Gear" logo embroidered onto the collar, so it's a bit difficult to adjust the size when trying to buckle it up. Update: Overall I am not happy with this CE Technika martingale collar. Tried it on my dog for a few days and found that the material is not strong enough and the collar width is too thin. Brought this back and made one on Etsy instead.
