Review on 🚲 SRAM X3 Derailleur 2016: Superior Performance and Precision by Jaye Cleveland

I ordered an X3 switch as a cheap makeshift while waiting for the US Postal Service to deliver the X7 switch that was lost in the mail. X3 works fantastic. yes it is plastic Yes, the pulleys are not interchangeable. Yes, only $20. But if it switches extremely softly and precisely. I have since received and installed the X7 derailleur I originally ordered and can hardly tell the difference. The X7 is all aluminum (apart from the cable hook/loop) and the pulleys are replaceable. The X7 might be a bit faster, but the X3 actually shifts lighter because the spring isn't as strong. If you're looking for something that works well with SRAM switches and competes with more expensive specs but isn't that concerned with durability, this is a great product. Would use and install another without hesitation.
