Quilting was recommended to me as a possible solution for filling my sofa. The upholstery edge on my couch was worn so you could feel the wood underneath (which is uncomfortable) and I needed to add some padding and that's what I got. This product is vacuum packed and will shed after opening. I find it a bit flimsy, but you can fold and layer it to make it thicker for your needs. I opened my sofa and put four layers of quilting on it. After I put my couch back together it was nice and fluffy again and no one will ever notice the difference. 's as this product is packaged but the edges are not cut straight. If you're looking for straight edges all around, you won't find it here. This isn't really a problem depending on how you're going to use the cotton. If you need something to upholster your sofa, this is one of the solutions! highlighted.
