I found this product and bought it for me and my mechanic. I don't change my oil that often anymore. I have a diesel mechanic next to my workshop so I use that one. Now I have this little jig so he can put in a full oil filter. The engine should not run dry for so long when starting. Those engine mounts have some lubrication, but if you can reduce the dry cycle time, all the better. You can also use it to remove your filter so you don't spill oil when removing the filter. I usually use an oil pump and suck out the oil before removing it anyway, but you won't spill a drop with this one.
