Now I have this little jig so he can put in a full oil filter. The engine should not run dry for so long when starting. I would give 5 stars but obviously this thing is being done as close as possible before it starts leaking. When you screw it on top of the Ram Cummins 6.7 oil filter it will ONLY make contact with the gasket on the filter. Seriously, if it were 1/8 inch larger in diameter it would appear safer. Mine didn't leak, but it's quite an unsettling feeling when you tip it over with that thing. If you drop it I'll have to think it's a leak. Purchased this item to change the oil in a 6.7 liter Ram 2500 little skeptical. It appears to be made of good ABS plastic and reasonably sturdy. I pre-capped the filter to make sure it was tight for obvious reasons and found that only a few threads on the cap actually reach the threads in the filter.
