Review on 🔧 Lisle 57180 Cummins Oil Filter Plug Tool - 1 Pack by Gunaraj Callaham

Purchased this item to change the oil in a 6.7 liter Ram 2500 little skeptical. It appears to be made of good ABS plastic and reasonably sturdy. I pre-capped the filter to make sure it was tight for obvious reasons and found that only a few threads on the cap actually reach the threads in the filter. If it is over tightened the cap threads will most likely break as the cap is plastic and the filter is metal. Eventually, after a few oil changes, it fails at the wrong time. The cap shows an inch thread but I don't think they took into account the thickness of the gasket on the filter and how low the steps sit in the filter to compensate for the spacing between the threaded surfaces. Therefore only three stars for the untested practicality.
