I purchased this 500 foot 12 gauge speaker cable to replace the side, rear and presence speakers in my home theater system. Since I have 17 speaker channels (not including 4 subwoofers), of which only 14 channels are currently occupied, I needed a lot of thick, high-quality speaker cable without having to pay a tidy sum. The answer lay in this 500-foot spool of 12-gauge copper wire from GLS Audio. To be honest, I didn't hear much of a difference from the Monster Cable Z3 and Z4 cables, which cost around $850 a pair when they first came out, but that wouldn't be a fair comparison. When I compare the GLS Audio Premium speaker cable to the Monster speaker cable of the same gauge, I hear NO difference, even though I paid a lot more for the Monster brand. I am very satisfied with the high offer of this product.
