Great design, a little disappointment on assembly

I really like the design of this product. Without a doubt it was the most beautiful chair ever, especially with the hunter green accent! I would buy it again but I will say that the only downside I have was the instructions or easy things to assemble. Every thing had a specific thing that fixed it, but before I knew it, it was frustrating me. The first problem was that when I put the seat fabric in, it would get caught in the wood inside the grooves because there were sharp edges. Edges in creases that could catch on the fabric. If the fabric was covered with thin plastic it would be a lot easier. The trick was, when it gets stuck, lift it up and pull it forward and that seems to have worked. Took me about 3 extra minutes to get the last inch haha. Now that everything is assembled it's not that big of a problem. Another problem I had was the metal connectors sliding down. You have to press them down according to the instructions so they are flat, but the instructions don't tell you how to do that. Since they're thin, metal, and fit snugly, I decided pushing them down with my hands to avoid cutting my hands wasn't the best idea. The first thing I tried was using a hammer and tapping it to see if it worked. It didn't work so I tried using my hands against common sense. Luckily I didn't cut myself but I did my best to pin her down but I still couldn't. I was literally shaking and my face turned red from trying to squeeze them with my hands. But still nothing. So I got up, took a deep breath, and then it finally dawned on me to step on her to push her! My dad taught me this trick when you change a car tire and you have to loosen the lug nut. You stand on it and jump up and down when you need to detach the ear, and this is how you do it when you can't move it with your hands! Doesn't sound very safe I know but you're only a foot or less off the ground so I know best haha. Either way, that was the key. It finally worked as I stood on a chair, put my foot on the metal bars and pressed them with my foot. Like all humans, we have far more strength and muscle in our legs than in our arms! After finally getting this done I was able to straighten the metal bars and mount the footrest and now I'm happy! Minutes of frustration trying to figure out how to put it together. It wasn't a lot of steps, but little things like the phrase: use your foot to push the bars instead of pushing them makes a big difference and hopefully the company can update the instructions. Thanks for the product! I know this might not sound right here, but I would 100% recommend this product; Because of these things I only gave 4 stars. Thanks very much!
