I bought this product specifically to adjust the number of injectors (IQ) on my MK4 VW TDI. Although this product ended up doing what I wanted, it took a lot longer than the dedicated VCDS. The app's interface isn't great, but it's not terrible either. The scanning speed is definitely below average, it takes much longer to scan codes than other Bluetooth scanners. The disappointing aspect of this scanner was that it was time to look into customization. For VW, to access the customization, you need a security code that is already filled in the app. Unfortunately the security code and the app don't seem to get along, about 80% of the time the app would throw an error trying to send the code. So began the frustrating time of re-submitting the code over and over again. Just in case it accepts the code, if you change the settings in the customization menu too many times, you'll be kicked out and have to start the process over. Did he end up doing what I needed? Yes. Maybe better? Yes. Did it cost $200? No, I'll just buy Ross-Tech VCDS at the same price.
