This tester requires AA batteries (not included or listed in product description) but AA batteries are too big for the unit and AAA batteries are too small. This was ordered for a specific job and now I don't have the equipment for that job because AMAZON will not replace it with a product that works. The fourth representative at AMAZON, Mary (supervisor), handled the exchange with another test kit that should work.
