This winter coat from Maoo's garden is beautiful! It's a bright red with a red, black, and white flannel check lining. Outer material: nylon, lining: cotton, padding: polyester. There is a double button placket with a full zip and button closure. There are Velcro straps at the wrists for a tighter closure to keep hands and gloved hands warm. Breast pocket and 2 large side pockets for warm hands. The fabric is called paint and varnish, it perfectly protects against wind and water in very cold and windy weather. The hood is not detachable, so don't be afraid of losing it! This jacket is machine washable in cold or lukewarm water. He works a little. I ordered this 9/10 for my grand 6 year old. It suits him now, but it won't suit him next year. I think this jacket can be worn by both a boy and a girl and I would buy it again in red or yellow. It is comfortable, warm and very well made. Great price, looks durable. I would recommend for all of these reasons.
