The first thing to do when you receive this scooter is inflate the tires to 60-65psi. If you don't, you'll find that it takes more effort than the A5 Lux. However, when fully inflated, this scooter glides damn well! The second thing to do when you get this scooter is to buy a $5 200x50 replacement tube from Revain. I say that because it's entirely possible that the tires will burst. it happened to me *I've replaced the rear tire tube 3 times.* The tube always goes flat for some reason. The repair is very quick and easy if you have a second Allen key similar to the one that comes with the scooter. This way you can dismantle the axle. I use this scooter on the UC Pomona campus and I want to tell you that I am very impressed with the difference between this scooter and the A5 Lux. Here's what I noticed compared to the A5 Lux: - Quiet. almost too quiet (could be called?) - EQUAL on pavement and cobblestones - Doesn't rattle - Turns SHARP due to increased friction - Capable of driving on gravel - Capable of driving on dirt Compared to the A5 Lux, this scooter has slightly smaller wheels and therefore lower ground clearance, but that should be fine if you don't have an alternate route on rooted roads.
