You pay for what you get. These 4 filter packs are nonsense. I'm pretty sure the wicking element on these types of filters draws water from the tank into the fan's intake area and allows hydrated air to flow through the outlet. However, this filter appears to absorb moisture from the outside air and dry out immediately. I put the filter in last night and my humidity dropped by 6%. I felt the filter this morning and it is drier than it was before it was installed. Don't waste your money or breath on it.
