Review on 🔒 High-Performance Fuel Non Return Check Valve - 10mm/3/8 inch, Aluminum Alloy - Ideal for Petrol and Diesel Applications by Joseph Adaymiln

I put this check valve in a plastic hose that goes from the condensate pump to the sink. The condensate pump removes water from the gas stove and air conditioner condenser by pumping clean water to the sink, where a plastic hose runs about 20 feet long. The first 7 feet after the condensate pump have vertical plastic tubing. As a result, I wanted to prevent clear water backflow from backflowing into the pump after it stopped pumping condensate. Easy enough right? It was very easy to install but required cutting the tubing, inserting this check valve in the correct direction (follow the flow arrow on the unit) and then securing both ends with a clamp. This goes very well for several days. Then I noticed 2 things. First, the flow of water from the condensate pump to the sink turned into a drip. So something was restricting the flow, and the only thing it could be was a new check valve. And second, since the plastic tube is clear, I could easily see the water going back into the pump through the check valve, which clearly wasn't working. Needless to say I removed the check valve and bought it at a local big store. This check valve was clearly a poor choice.
