They're quite original and simple
So easy - mark where you want, drill a 1/4 inch hole, insert a hook and secure with 3 nails on the wall. (which are only for keeping it in the right position, not for carrying capacity). It's pretty absurd that they cost $6 a piece - just stamped metal - costs about 10 cents to make - the box it comes in costs more, but heck you don't need to buy dozens. I bought 2 to hang a 150# mirror. I ordered 2 more just to have on hand as I am a bit of an OCD and an engineer which makes my OCD worse and also a West Point grad which makes it worse.
