This is my second review of almost the same product; I ordered these for $9, then other Chemex filters for $12. Both are high performance white filters that produce the best possible cup of coffee using the Chemex system. They would probably be really good for a regular coffee drip system, I haven't tried them yet (as I'm FULLY IN LOVE with my new Chemex system) on my new Cuisinart (which is probably just collecting dust except in emergencies). They seem to be slightly larger than the "regular" cone filters you find for most drip coffee systems, so you'll probably have to trim them down to fit the scissors (worth it? Yeah, I think as a filter works a lot better than conventional filters).I have yet to have a cup of Java with this system (it's right after my extensive, super reviews - IMO - Chemex systems).Update: The difference between these (FC-100) and FS-100 are the tapered designs and the rest is just a piece of paper folded in quarters or four times, it's the same material just the price is different and how it's used chemex is a bit trickier with the sheets (did you know you Can make your coffee even smoother by taking eggshells, peeling and drying them, then placing them half-ground at the bottom of the filter? It might even increase your calcium intake.)
