Basically a solid 4 star product. It definitely works for what it's intended for. Nobody can doubt it. It will also definitely save you more money than you spent on your heating bills. Why is this NOT a 5 star product? Well, because they probably call that the "ghetto" solution. It's not something you like to look at. Just look carefully at the top picture in the description of this ad. See how you can see the reflections and variations and how it looks. Did you shrink wrap the windows? Yes, this is the BEST case of the "looking" scenario. This is nothing but a temporary situation for a few months. As opposed to maybe caulking and/or applying sealer or similar if you have something that can potentially help any time of the year (e.g. brutal heat) and possibly years (especially if you don't open those windows very often), it will be erased once the cruel times are over. But, you know what? It's cheap, easy, and pretty quick. You won't do this with all of your windows, just the ones where you lose heat. Who cares what your windows look like when it's freezing cold? You just want to keep warm and hopefully be able to pay your electric bills and this is great for that. Is it something more than packaging film + double-sided tape? No not at all. But who cares. You will be given plenty of wraps and tape and they will do their job until the cold is gone.
