We bought this sign to replace one that has become brittle over the last few years. I wanted it to be the same as the old one. The picture shows that it has a hole in the middle in addition to the chain. We don't use chain as we hang it from the middle hole (which keeps it higher up on our door). Well, it didn't have a hole. We punched it ourselves, but it was difficult to get it exactly centered so the sign would hang properly. If the space I had to put up a sign wasn't limited I wouldn't have bothered. But in our situation it was important and I would have missed that sign if the picture was right.
