So far this machine has solved all the problems I've had with the Bissell Spotbot and Spotclean models. Hoover's self-cleaning feature is the best part, I can backwash the hose, removing water and debris from the hose and preventing the mold and mildew growth that was ruining my other machines. It cleans very well, has enough power and I prefer the silicone brush on my head as it doesn't grab all the hair and fur. The brush head also disassembles completely, so you can even rinse it under the plastic cover where hair and dirt collect. It's not a perfect design, I wish the water tank fill hole was a little bigger and when you turn it over to fill it up you don't see the waterline marks anymore because they are on the side. There will be some water dripping after you pull the hose from the self-cleaning connector, but I once knew I'd always do this step on the counter so I can wipe it off easily. For everyday pet stains and messes, I appreciate not having to fill the entire clean container with solution, the "small mess" water supply line is the perfect amount, and I don't waste an expensive solution.
