Review on 🚰 Optimized Water Softener Installation Adaptor Kit by Samuel Nguyen

The previous GE water softener on this model failed and the plastic bypass valve that came with it was leaking so I had to turn off the water into the house until I could could switch off the bypass and set it manually. The plumber said they often leak and often don't work when you need them. I bought a new Home Depot water softener and the instructions describe a three valve configuration, so I did it. These adapters allowed me to connect 1" threaded connectors (SharkBite 24" 3/4" Inlet Push-to-Connect x 1" Water Softener FIP Corrugated Stainless Steel Outlet) directly to the water softener without having to use the plastic bypass that came with the water softener I also used duct tape to seal the PTFE threads.
