Diamond crown is long, good for increasing the depth of mortar removal. However, you should let the tool do its job and not force it. The old solution is well removed. at $45 it's a good value. Very good price. I bought one from another company 15 years ago (head was only 1/2 inch long, shaft was only 1.5 inch long). A 15 year old nozzle costs $95. It was sintered, which is why it lasted so long. Not sure if this one is newly sintered but full of rough diamonds that have held up well so far.
