Review on Improved KYB SM5078 Strut Mount Kit for Enhanced Performance by Quinton Wonsley

I installed new KYB struts on my Saturn SL1 along with the recommended KYB mounting kits. Well, I wish I'd kept my original mounts because they creak horribly when I turn the steering wheel more than a few inches, especially when I'm stopped or turning at low speed, like in a parking lot. KYB is a respected brand so I don't understand what happened here. I tore the front end THREE TIMES to fix the problem. I took great care to ensure everything was installed correctly, the spring pads were properly oriented and the bearings were installed white side down. Bottom line: their racks are great, but don't use their mounts.
