I first bought these for the outside base of the toilet. It saves my arthritic knees. I still use a regular bristle brush for the inside. I have one in the kitchen for cleaning or dusting hard to reach places like the top of window ledges. I also use it to clean baseboards. They're not super absorbent, but I usually use them dry or with a light sanitizing spray. The handles are strong enough for my purposes. The fluffy head is larger on one side of the handle and isn't evenly distributed around the handle, so you're really only using one side of the brush. This is not a problem for me. This is a simple and cheap tool that will make some house cleaning jobs easier. If you have them, I guarantee you will find a use for them. I'm considering sticking one in my car to dust the dash next to the hard-to-reach windshield. Do you understand what I mean?
