I first bought a much more expensive, larger and not much more powerful scanner for home use. I sent it back and got the Pros Mini. That works great! It is convenient to be able to create graphs and record any number of parameters. It is small but big enough for convenient to use and easy to store. Loads and loads pretty quickly too. The battery life is several hours of continuous operation. One suggestion for improving the software would be to group the options so you can access them more quickly. My 2003 Ford has over fifty parameters that I can track. They're in alphabetical order, so to select things like O2 sensors, fuel trims (short term and long term) and MAF you have to scroll through a considerable list. You may have a search function or some folders if you choose the origin of your car, for example. I really enjoy it and am learning a lot. Update 7/17/20: I've been using this for about 8 months now. I had no problems at all. Not a day goes by without some kind of software update. Speaking of updates, the subscription length is two years, which is twice as long as most if not all. Just to clarify the alphabetical listing of the parameters above, the problem is that, in at least one example, the SHORT TERM fuel trim is nowhere near the LONG TERM fuel trim in the list. When watching Youtube videos of other more expensive tools, the data points are grouped by function, not just alphabetically. I don't know if other scan tools are similar, but to be able to print anything you need a home printer. Maybe there are hacks I don't know about, or maybe I'm missing something. The integrated key storage is great! The nasty trailer assist sound that plays when you exit the program to remind you to recover your key is a nice feature, but probably not a big deal for us auto mechanics working on our own cars. I would definitely buy this again!
