I found the width of this brush to be too wide and the bristles too hard making it difficult to clean all the tiny spaces between my bottle and pump parts. First, this brush is almost too big to fit my Medela pump bottles and probably any other regular sized bottles in my mouth. If I use enough force I can barely push it in, but soap and water splatter all over the place when I pull it out! What a mess! Also, the bristles are a lot stiffer than I expected. This makes it impossible to clean all the little nooks and crannies. I was hoping this would be a good alternative to a sponge bottle brush because a sponge can be a good breeding ground for germs, but it turned out to be just a waste of time. of money. UPDATE: After a few weeks of use, the bristles have softened and go through bottle caps better. However, I still feel that the nipple brush on the bottom is not soft enough for the soft silicone in the bottle nipples!
