My hanging pot rack came with large S hooks that are free to move and tilt making it very difficult to hang and/or remove pots without snapping hooks and on the floor or on a thin ceramic object lying on the counter below them. After nearly crushing my step-daughter's favorite cup the other day, I decided not to take any more risks and looked for something more sturdy. It's a near-perfect replacement. The hole was too wide to "snap" onto my mesh, which wasn't a problem - just hang it where I wanted and squeeze lightly with pliers. Now they really turn on and off. I could probably scale them down a bit more to make them semi-permanent. The flat design keeps them from swaying when trying to hook or unhook the pot handles and they don't come loose like my old ones. Only problem is the flat hooks are too wide to slide through the hole in one of my pot handles, but they worked fine when I rotated the pan - now rather than trying to maneuver it on a giant curved handle. loop, I can just pick it up and take it off. I'm so happy with it that I'm buying two more packs.
