I've had it for a month and I've already used it. 3. Usually my sponges last for several months because thank goodness I have a dishwasher (I know I'm very lucky and lived without it for 30 years). I bought them because they looked so cute so I figured they would be a stylish feature on my sink that I would use a few times a month.... NO. I've only used it once and the soft layer (the one with the color and picture of the cat) started to show. I thought I was going to use it roughly so I went ahead and changed it but it happened again. It's so annoying, and the thing is, when the soft backing comes off it looks so awful, like you've been using a sponge for years.
