Review on ✏️ Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black Carbon Blend Pencils - Jet Black Lines, 6 Assorted Sketch Pencils in Tin, Professional Art Supplies - 100B G6 by Jennifer Dunn

8B wasn't bad at best, but these pencils felt very hard and almost "waxy" compared to their graphite counterparts. For comparison I have the Faber Castell 9000 pencil sets, the regular Staedtler Mars Lumograph and the Tombow Mono pencil sets. I've also tried them on sketch paper. I really like using regular Mars Lumograph graphite pencils, but they don't look like it at all. After anxiously awaiting them, I was actually disappointed with their performance and will be looking at other charcoal pencils to try. Edit: I'm editing my original review because after a while I love it for it accentuates my drawings. After sharpening they felt better on paper and they are definitely black without the graphite sheen. They are similar to Cretacolor Nero but now I prefer the black Staedtler pens. I will buy this again.
