Review on πŸ‹ Machika Manual Citrus Juicer - Premium Quality, Heavy Duty Squeezer for Orange, Lemon, Pomegranate, and Lime with Non-slip Pads (Yellow) by Jessica Rogers

It works, but it's not my first choice.

Very hard mode, but surprisingly not too hard. Overall robust construction. Parts in contact with fruit are completely disassembled for easy cleaning. These parts are thick enough steel that hasn't shown any rust in my use. There were a few burrs around the holes but nothing to hurt you, just enough to get caught on the threads of a kitchen rag or sponge. The juicer is great. Seems to get quite a bit of juice, leaving most of the pulp and seeds. The lever is so long that you have to stabilize your foot with one hand to keep the press from tipping over. Another problem is that there is not enough space under the press to place a container to collect the juice. Because the base's legs are here, it creates an uneven surface for almost any size bowl you place here. In general, if you're juicing dozens of oranges, it might be worth releasing this villain, but if you're juicing a few lemons for lemonade or a few limes for cocktails, I'm not sure it'll be helpful. Worth the effort. The citrus peel reamer seems to do the job just as well and is simpler and lighter overall. At $80, it's a little pricey for something that doesn't really work any better than another tool that's half the price. 3/5 stars.
