Review on Mission Automotive Hitch Tightener Hitches by Owen Phi

Great product - virtually no rattling. It's a pity that I didn't find this clutch tensioner years ago! UPDATE #1: I installed three of these on my hitch while riding cross country. After the 3rd stop, where I always make sure that everything is tight and secure, I found that both nuts on one of these brackets were stripped. After reading other reviews I was VERY careful not to overtighten when installing. I had a dual clutch bike receiver (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P6CJ9O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) hooked up to my car's receiver - that's where the hitch tensioner failed. I then attached a hitch bike rack to the top slot of the receiver and a standard 2" hitch ball to the bottom slot of the receiver (see picture). The hitch tensioners on the other two links worked fine - so I think the bend in the hitch extension in the receiver is just putting too much stress on the nut threads. Maybe I asked for more than was realistic. UPDATE #2: After posting my original update, I was contacted by the seller - who did a great job of resolving the issue and providing me with what I needed to get back home. I was very impressed with the customer service/support and would happily recommend this product. Just be aware that the torque/tension on the hitches (especially non-traditional ones like my situation) could potentially be too much for any hitch tensioner.
