The remote control is not the best audio and video accessory
When the remote control works, it is very good. However, most of the time it doesn't do what it should. I have a newer model of Roku and often nothing happens when I use the remote and point the remote at the Roku. For example, it may take 30 seconds to try before changing channels or screens. I put in new batteries and even got up close to the Roku to swap out the screen and sometimes nothing happens. I looked around for another brand.
