Do Not Buy: Generates static electricity

I bought this to use with a Honeywell/Ademco Vista 20P panel. After two months of use, I began noticing intermittent static buildup on the speaker. A security guru on a DIY security forum explained: "I used to install Wave2 sirens instead of DSC's SD-15W. I thought Wave2 looked better and was easier to install. However, over time I found that about 20% of the Wave2 in the field failed as you described. At first I replaced them with identical Wave2s, but gave up and went back to the SD-15W.
