Looks good. didn't work with my Vista 10

Has 3 wires to connect. My Vista 10 system siren only has two wires so I had to return mine. The product looks nice, but you never hear how it sounds.

Not for wireless

Technically I have nothing to say about the device other than I thought it was zwave compatible, which it isn't. I returned for a refund. Thanks to Amazon and the seller I was able to get my money back.

Pros

Do Not Buy: Generates static electricity

I bought this to use with a Honeywell/Ademco Vista 20P panel. After two months of use, I began noticing intermittent static buildup on the speaker. A security guru on a DIY security forum explained: "I used to install Wave2 sirens instead of DSC's SD-15W. I thought Wave2 looked better and was easier to install. Ignore the negative reviews from customers who didn't know what it was for or how to connect it. This is a standard 12v siren, like the Wave 2 model, and has inputs for continuous tone and trill (your choice). No, it is not compatible with wireless networks or Zwave. This is an ordinary wired piezo siren. I bought this for my First Alert system (Vista 20P clone) to replace my standard Wave 2 and I have to say it's just as loud and shrill and still makes a siren sound as the Wave. -2 does (most…

Great security siren for the price!

**Just a quick note before I start rating this product. This is not a Z-Wave siren, and Honeywell makes no claims that it is. ** You will need some parts to use this siren with your security system. • Honeywell Wave2PD siren • Replacement thermostat cable ((18 gauge/4 wires) • Precision flathead screwdriver. Check your central station monitoring account (1 hour recommended). o When installing the siren, use masking tape or aluminum tape to attach the siren to the central air ducts to put your…
