Our above ground pool is 18' x 33' and we wanted some lights for night swimming. I started with one set of two and we loved them, but they were a bit dim for this size pool. Bought another pair and still loved them but wanted just a little more brightness. Six lights is perfect for this pool! Synchronizing them is a little tricky but the kids enjoy the challenge of trying to synchronize them, which involves pressing the bottom on each one all at the same time. There is no remote; you just push a button in the center of the light to set it to a certain color, or to turn it off. It also has a setting where it cycles through the colors. White, purple, red, green, yellow, and blue. These easily attach to the side of the pool with the magnet in the back of the light. Each light takes 3 AAA batteries. So far, they've worked flawlessly and I'm super happy with them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with an above ground pool who wants to light up the pool at nighttime.
