I must say that I have never used any other product for this purpose so I cannot compare brands but I liked it so much that I ordered it again. I use it as a night protection that I wear while I sleep. In the morning when I get up I wash it off with water and put it in the Smile Again solution to soak until I need my night protection the next night. I use an ultrasonic cleaner once a week to deep clean my night shield and the rest of the time I use Smile Again. I change the Smile Again solution once a week. It's very easy to use. Take a small bowl, add 1 cup of warm water, pour in the powder solution, stir until the powder dissolves and it's ready to use.
