Before purchasing I read other reviews and decided that I could implement it on my 4x8 open utility trailer due to the reasonable price. My trailer is quite heavy for its size and uses 15" D-load trailer tires on 5-bolt rims. I have already decided to mount the spare wheel at the front of the trailer to save space. The mounting holes are drilled for 1/4" bolts and I threw away the bolts that came with the kit and bolted the bracket down with bolts and locknuts so the weight of the tire was on the tongue of my trailer. In the experience of others, the shorter wheel bolt was about 1/2 inch too short. The long bolt was very long but fit me.
