Great product Great service with learning curve

We believe Ori is a 1-2 year old Border Collie/Terrier mix. Ori was found on Blue Ridge Boulevard aimlessly wandering through various recreational areas in and out of traffic. It was obvious that he had been there for some time. He was dirty, had lousy hair, bugs, no collar and was shy when approached. Our friends who were in the area spent several hours trying to catch him. At first they couldn't keep him, so we volunteered. We didn't have an ID chip, and after weeks of advertising with no one claiming we had accepted it. He lived his spirit and every day he shows us how he hunts moles and squirrels or even hunts our chickens to say "I got you." I won'" but never harms them. Yes, we feed him lots of eggs along with his food. He is gentle and craves the affection he receives in buckets, but is determined to run for it all including the coyotes we fear, barbed wire, cars, and will gnaw on anything in sight, especially plastic. We train with rewards, but he has four traits, or habits, that are almost impossible to fix or get his attention are. Then we bought Free Spirit. For us it was a message from God. There is a big learning curve. Think of it as a checklist to make sure the device is doing what you want when you need to use it locally. Learn before you kill a dog!An element is ignored or forgotten and nothing happens the moment you need it.We started slowly and the sounds and vibrations caught some attention, Ori just goes for it r high school. We are shocked at the lowest possible number for him which is 21. At 15 I can hardly feel it. He has enough time to answer us before we use him. As we do, his reaction is barely perceptible, other than stopping and looking at us. That this is the moment you want and "et viola la wonder". We know it will take months, but we firmly believe that a dog that cannot be trained is pleasant to have and swarmed by visitors. $35 isn't expensive and I don't expect Mercedes quality. We had an issue with a collar receiver that stayed charged. We contacted Revain and thanks to the excellent response from the supplier a new one arrived 2 days later. Again this takes time but there are many things you will learn about the device just by watching it charge, knowing it is charged when the collar is active feel it before training always vibrate, as the last element in the exam. list. Only one video is allowed so I show how Oro reacted to the shock of being called and completely ignoring me. The quality of the video is poor but good enough to show how it works in a humane way and we get the dog we love as part of our family with a good life for him not a lonely death all alone . Much luck.
