Review on Moog RK100122 Control Joint Assembly by Joseph Hall

Revainrating 4 out of 5

good product, good price, works as it should

Good Points: 1. Worked well to fix my tire camber problems2. Features a grease nipple on the swivel buckle, so you don't have to worry about it ever rusting and not adjusting.3. Had 2 threaded holes through for additional cotter pin options on castle nut.Negative sides.1. The rubber bushing at the end of the vehicle frame is slightly smaller than the OEM Honda.2. The inner end with a rubber bushing, that is, a thread, is not solid, it is a piece of pipe with a reverse thread. I was expecting it to be a piece of round stock that Moog would thread into, but Honda's original is also a hollow piece of pipe. So I think it's ok.3. The last and most unpleasant minus is the oiler, which fits into the ball joint at the top. The threads on the grease fitting are long enough that when you try to install the grease fitting, it will thread about halfway in and then push the ball back out on the end of the ball joint. To fix this I had to make a 10x32 nut washer after which I could attach grease and apply grease to the ball joint assembly.

Pros
  • HIGH PRECISION DESIGN -- Optimized bushings for quiet operation and resistance to wear, salt, road grime and oils
Cons
  • Some little things
