This is a pretty average electric glue gun in terms of overall appearance, but it heats up quickly and is easy to use. turns on and off and uses small standard glue sticks. I don't like that it uses a dedicated charger, some 3.6v glue guns use a USB cable but that's not a big deal, just another charger to keep an eye on. There are 2 LEDs on the top, one to indicate charging and one to indicate when it is on. A long press turns it on and a short press turns it off when you're done. There is no small pistol rest, but the rubber coating on the side prevents scalding and can simply be placed on the side between uses. The trigger works well and is quite large making it easy to dispense a small amount of glue at a time when needed. Overall, I rate it as above average, although not perfect. It works really well and it's so nice to have a battery powered glue gun that you can use to craft or repair just about anywhere. The kit includes several glue sticks. I believe the diameter is 0.27 inch and they are widely available. I like this product overall, it works well and apart from a slightly cheap feel it works well for my main use at home for a small renovation. I've used it to glue foam to a model airplane and it's holding up well so I'm happy with it.
