Rating (may change over time)

Introduction: I will review this chair over time as it is a major purchase that you should consider before trying it yourself . And I just think the one off review, like most here, doesn't do it justice because it's a lot of money. I took a dive so you don't have to. So on September 17, 2021, take my word for it with a grain of salt and let your confidence build as I update it over time. I'll give a first rundown of how it will hold up for a few workdays when back support is critical, and a few months; and hopefully we can avoid it altogether, but the warranty/consumer protection scrutiny is important, and I've heard people don't get a lot of feedback promising a supposed two-year warranty, which is important for a $300 chair. First Review: Considering questionable customer support/protection and weird experiences with the sit back feature; it clicks like a stiff spring, which hopefully doesn't mean anything bad with my device in the long run (or rather, I'd recline, but it clicks when I stand up), but it's definitely an annoying noise, which leaves me with durability doubt. And it has a standard chair height adjustment lever, but I adjusted it all the way, which is perfect for me, but I'm not that tall. I'm 5'10 and this chair says it's for taller people too. So the chair itself; it fits me like a glove; He hugs me from the side and from top to bottom. For me personally it's neither here nor there, it doesn't bother me much but it might be important for others. There's not much legroom either compared to my last chair; which again isn't that important to me, but maybe to others, which I found out at the last minute reading international reviews. It's English, but the other way says it like it is. The armrests are carbon fiber and some people say "wobbles," but that's literally a feature of many chairs, so they move with your hand movements. That's not a minus. This chair build is pretty simple, not difficult to set up at all, and you get a few accessories like a lumbar pillow, neck pillow, and mouse pad. The mouse pad is the standard quality you should expect from a keyboard/mouse pad and the lumbar pad didn't really bother me. Maybe in time I'll come to my senses, but a neck pillow was a necessity for me. Overall I feel comfortable with this chair. Now I've succeeded, but the real test will be when I really test its comfort after a hard day's work, when I really need it the most and want to relax; what to expect from anyone buying this. Might use the tilt feature more often and check customer support later which hopefully is correct. But now I feel 4 stars. That's not exactly what gives me this 5 star rating as it has many things that have worked for me but maybe less so for others and the issue of its durability is a concern given its tilting feature. I hope it's all just water under the bridge and it's working fine and nothing happens, but if anything happens I'll be sure to adjust accordingly. Update 1: i.e. after business hours; Yes I can say it's nice on the back when I really need it. Getting memory foam cushions on the armrests is also very important. A small accessory for this chair. As for the lumbar pillow that was in that chair... it's just useless. This makes it look good aesthetically, but it's too stiff and it eats up seat space for me and doesn't allow me to really recline comfortably in my chair. And what do you know, it's very cheap to talk about, like a rigid foam conveyor belt. I'm sure it will form over time, but with a cheap foam like this, I know it's going to last a long time. They had to choose a memory that would truly be a game changer. Seriously think about trimming the pillow to replace that cheap pillow or even a new one. Update 2: It didn't take long for the seat to form small lumps in the upholstery. When you knock your seat; it should be flat and firm. I now have two indentations in my pillow in random places for reasons unknown. This is usually what you get within a year with the right memory foam. Not a few days. At this rate it's starting to look worrying. Will change this to 3 stars for now... Last update. 11/10/21 in the end it's just not for me. I looked at all these issues with the chairs and how much I was spending and said this is totally unacceptable. Lumps in the seat after a week, a tight hug, paper thin seat cushion and lack of care of this coverall make it a chair that wasn't for me and doesn't match what its size/weight specs say; I've seen Carnox update here regularly to hopefully encourage more sales by changing the numbers from what they should be. Irresponsible. At the end of the day I broke my wallet and went to the secret lab. When you make such a big purchase the last thing you want to hear is bad CS and you have to face all these problems in ONE week. requires a few hundred dollars and especially a purchase whose shipping costs exceed the STO due to its weight. Because of this, at the end of the day I am absolutely happy and grateful to Revain for helping me get a full refund. I enjoy shopping here because I am so well protected. Well done Revvan. But back to the finish line. This chair ranges from rock-hard cushions to already questionable quality materials in critical areas like gearing and overall functionality. Secret Lab, on the other hand, immediately released their super powerful build where I could tell the difference immediately after using the two. It has been over a month since my purchase and the chairs are completely free of all the issues I have listed from Karnox. It's definitely expensive, but worth it in the end. And later I made a discovery. There are countless chairs out there with the exact same design, which makes me think this "signature" Karnox looks more like a base unit, straight off the assembly line in China. Repackaged under a different name and still the same poorer quality. I wanted to believe that Karnox's videos led me to their product. How devotion was real, but ultimately not in this product. Your time is better invested elsewhere.
