For some reason I'm crazy about Christmas lights. I had to throw out my old ones and needed a new one long enough to get around my large patio doors and balcony railings. When I first saw them (and average reviews) I have to admit I was a bit wary, but I liked that they were smaller bulbs, different colors, lengths, and a choice of lighting modes. And the price was great. So I took it and I have no regrets! It was long enough for what I needed, love the colors and it's bright enough to impress but not bright enough to be a beacon at night. I have a separate timer that I bought for this so it's easy to manage. I like that I have many lighting modes. The extension is also long, giving me some maneuverability when threading the light. The packaging was good - it was laced so it didn't get tangled when I pulled the string. The wiring is thin and light, making it easy to damage if you're not careful. As I said, the bulbs are small and look like a miniature, a miniature of a siren. No problems with any of the bulbs; You don't get any extra bulbs in the box, however, but these aren't the types where you can replace a bulb. So if she fails, it's probably a kaput. I'm definitely planning on getting the plain white ones for threading and I'm glad I stumbled across them. I hope they last until next year, but we'll see. UPDATE 10/19/2020: Well almost a year later and. EVERYONE LOVES THESE LIGHTS. I "forgot" to take them off last year (I know, I know, I'm *that* person) and figured that all that bad weather and being outside all the time meant those lights were off. I was in the holiday mood this October and decided to turn them on early. And to my surprise, these lights look just as good as the day they arrived at my door. All bulbs still work, burn bright and work properly. I will definitely be buying another set/color for this year! UPDATE 11/30/21: Another year later! They're still here and they still work great! This year I hung them on the railing and on the back of the kitchen wall. I am shocked that these lights are still working as I have had terrible abuse of them in the past. Every lightbulb still works. Very sturdy and I'm tough on things. I definitely got my money's worth and a lot more. However, I highly recommend it!
